The 3rd Order of St. Francis was founded by St. Francis of Assisi.  The 3rd Order consists of religious and lay men and women, married or otherwise, who emulate St. Francis' spirit of by performing works of teaching, charity and social services.  The 3rd order is also known as Secular Franciscans.  They meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month in the Barre Library.  Contact Gretchen Rodriquez for more information.
